The Blue Devils clinched the Region 5AA Championship on Friday night. We will play Decatur on Saturday, February 25th at home. The game starts at 7:00. Please be sure to come out and cheer on our MHS Blue Devils!

Congratulations to Sarah Edgar, MHS STAR Student 2012!
Sarah had the highest SAT score of the senior class. Her scores in critical reading, math and writing were greater than this year's national averages. Sarah has chosen as her STAR Teacher Mrs. Connie LaPlume, who taught her in kindergarten and first grade. Sarah and Mrs. LaPlume will be honored at a banquet at MHS on February 21, 2012. Sarah will be attending Georgia Institute of Technology and majoring in Biomolecular and Chemical Engineering next year. We congratulate Sarah on her outstanding accomplishments!

MHS Earns SSAS Gold Award
MHS is honored to have received a Gold Award from the Governor's Office of Student Achievement for making great gains on state assessments under the Single Statewide Accountability System (SSAS). This award is quite an accomplishment as only 10 high schools in the state received this recognition.
