Manchester High School is very proud of our accomplishments and advancements in the area of instructional technology. Having 21st century classrooms allows us to teach our students in new and innovative ways. Using technology as an integral part of our instruction also makes learning more relevant and engaging to today’s students.
• All of our core content teachers use laptops and projection systems to bring multimedia presentations alive in the classrooms.
• We now have interactive whiteboards or slates in most classrooms, as well as student response systems. These interactive technologies allow our students the opportunity to actively participate in lessons and provide teachers with valuable, real time information about their students’ progress.
• MHS has five mobile laptop labs which are fully wireless. These labs allow teachers and students the capability to engage in innovative projects, utilize web based resources, and have hands-on experience with various software programs.
• We have a full time Instructional Technology Specialist on staff who works to advance the use of technology throughout the school and supports teachers with effective technology integration.
• Our website has also become a wonderful tool that is used by teachers, students, parents and community members.
